As a musician, Mick Wilson has performed and recorded with artists such as: Lionel Ritchie, Alice Cooper, Kylie Minogue, Marti Pellow, Alison Moyet, Chris Rea, Donny Osmond, Robin Gibb, Patricia Kass, Westlife, Cliff Richard, Martine McCutcheon, Cher, Lulu and the K.L.F. He has also been involved with Theatre performances / recordings of: Grease, Saturday Night Fever, Evita (Motion Picture), Jesus Christ Superstar, Bombay Dreams and Mamma Mia (Motion Picture).
Since joining Graham Gouldman for an acoustic set at the Green Room in London’s Café Royal 10 years ago, Mick has become a regular in the latest incarnation of 10cc. Along with Rick Fenn and Paul Burgess from the original 70’s line up, Graham has continued to tour the full band, with Mick taking on Lead Vocal duties and playing percussion and guitar. Since then, Graham and the band have performed extensively in Europe and toured Australia, Japan and New Zealand, with major tours confirmed for Europe and the UK in 2009.
For over 20 years, Mick has had his own recording and production facility which has been the base for a varied career as a producer, songwriter and composer of music for T.V. and live events for companies such as: Sky, BBC, ITV, Marks & Spencer, McDonalds, B.T., Levi’s, Toyota, Mercedes, Ford, Reebok and Mitsubishi.
In the role of Musical Supervisor, Mick has been responsible for putting bands together for many large corporate events in the UK and Europe including several 40 date-plus tours for LEVI’S, most recently putting the orchestra and choir together for an awards ceremony at the Royal Albert Hall.
Mick continues to be a much in demand session vocalist in and around London, where he is based.
