The Freddie Mercury Trust concert at Shepherds Bush Empire was an extraordinary gig on so many levels.

It was wonderful to be on stage with the band and be a part of the whole SAS experience. The music was so good that I couldn\'t prevent myself from dancing around madly (like any self-respecting backing singer). Only problem was I was 8 1/2 months pregnant and half way through the gig thought I might be in serious danger of having the baby there and then if I didn\'t slow down! (I had to spend the next two days in bed, but it was well worth it).

When the gig ended and Spike proposed on stage it was a perfect end to a fabulous night.
