Matt Backer was born in a log cabin in Louisiana, USA. His parents were members of the jet set, living in Mexico, Venezuala, Belgium , the Caribbean and England. They lost him in transit at Miami airport and he was raised by friendly groundstaff.
Matt\'s university studies in both the US and UK prepared him for the life of an urban guerilla. Unfortunately he couldn\'t spell that and so he became a guitarist instead.
